Left alone in Baltimore after his unpredictable lover bails, Special Agent Zane Garrett takes his frustration out on everything in his path until he is ordered to Chicago to back up an undercover operative. When he gets there, though, he finds himself face to face with his wayward partner, Special Agent Ty Grady. They have to deal with the uncertainty lingering between them while they work to retrieve their intended mark, a retired hit man and CIA wet-works operative named Julian Cross.

Ty, once a marine and now an FBI hotshot, has a penchant for being unpredictable, a trait Zane can vouch for. Zane is a man who once lived for his job but has come to realize his heartbreaking past doesn’t have to overshadow his future. They're partners, friends, lovers, and the go-to team for unusual cases.

With Cross and his innocuous boyfriend, Cameron Jacobs, in tow, Ty and Zane must navigate the obstacles of a cross-country trek, including TSA pat-downs, blizzards, their uncooperative prisoners, CIA kill teams, a desperate lack of sleep or caffeine, and each other. Ty and Zane are determined to get Julian Cross to DC in one piece, but it’s starting to look like it might be the last thing they do.

“I’m gonna end up in the fucking madhouse because of you!” He reached out and grabbed Ty’s wrist, pulling him closer. “Loving you is going to make me fucking insane! I said no, and I mean it!”

Oh, man! And we have an installment where the cop mystery stuff takes over my Ty and Zane fix! Damn you! ARMED & DANGEROUS was full of boring cop stuff and two guys named Cam and Julian who I don't give a rats ass about. I want my Ty and Zane back. Ty and Zane were present in this book, but it was like this book was taken over by Julian and Cam which I was NOT happy about. But I will stay positive.

“I love you. And I've never been able to say that before with such conviction. I can't remember a time when you weren't the first thing I thought of, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I don't care what stands in our way.”

The previous book left off with Zane having told Ty he loved him and Ty leaves that night and Zane finds him gone the next morning. And the next time Zane sees Ty..... Well, let's just say it's so long Zane wants to kill Ty! We do have sweet, awesome romantic times. I swear this series makes me have major fangirl moments. I need more and more of this wonderful series.

Zane felt flush all over, a little light-headed, and more than a little off kilter. What Ty promised.. . It was more than Zane had ever expected to want from anyone else ever again. But he did want that from Ty, desperately.

I really liked seeing them talking about their feeling for each other and being open about this relationship they are building. I loved the first part of the book so much! I mainly just loved the Ty & Zane parts through the entire book. ARMED & DANGEROUS was far from one of the best books, but I am hopeful that the next one will be tons better.

Most Wanted Reads: Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

Most Wanted Reads is inspired by Waiting on Wednesday hosted/created by Breaking the Spine. I just wanted to personalize it a little bit for me.

Red Queen
By Victoria Aveyard
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Mare Barrow's world is divided by blood—those with red and those with silver. Mare and her family are lowly Reds, destined to serve the Silver elite whose supernatural abilities make them nearly gods. Mare steals what she can to help her family survive, but when her best friend is conscripted into the army she gambles everything to win his freedom. A twist of fate leads her to the royal palace itself, where, in front of the king and all his nobles, she discovers a power of her own—an ability she didn't know she had. Except . . . her blood is Red.

To hide this impossibility, the king forces her into the role of a lost Silver princess and betroths her to one of his own sons. As Mare is drawn further into the Silver world, she risks her new position to aid the Scarlet Guard—the leaders of a Red rebellion. Her actions put into motion a deadly and violent dance, pitting prince against prince—and Mare against her own heart.

Please! I beg you! I need this book now!

TV Review: Outlander 1X03: The Way Out

Another week for OUTLANDER and I am so excited. I want the next episode ASAP. This was a week for character and relationship developments. And learning just how deadly and brutal punishments were back then for just little things.

Brutal and Severe Punishments!

[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="221"] Source: wanderinangel[/caption]

So for this week on Outlander I didn't like it as much as the first two episodes, because I felt like not much was going on. We got to see Claire to work doing her nursing and healing stuff and Colum's butt. And we really got to see the brutal side of things back in the 1700's. There are punishments if you do wrong and it's no light punishment like today in the world. A kid has stole something and got his ear nailed to a stake wood. I had to hide my face. That is just so brutal. I guess it's better than losing your hand, but not by much. And also with being a woman certain men look down on you. Ugh. I hate those types of men.

More Relationship Developments

[caption id="" align="alignright" width="221"] Source: wanderinangel[/caption]

We have more than enough, well maybe not, cute Jamie and Claire moments. I loved when Claire was teasing Jamie for catching him kissing Laoghaire. And the gazing at each other while Claire looked at Jamie's wound. And Jamie pulling out the nail on the boy, because Claire asked him to. By the end of the episode we hear of a tale of ones crossing though the stones and did make it back home. Now Claire is more determined than every to cross the stones again and get back home to Frank.

And alas, My favorite Jamie moments...

That lead to a pleasure so wicked...
From the shadows, Garreth has long watched over Lucia. Now, the only way to keep the proud huntress safe from harm is to convince her to accept him as her guardian. To do this, Garreth will ruthlessly exploit Lucia's greatest weakness—her wanton desire for him

I swear these books are getting more addicting and addicting where I can't stop reading them! I love Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark Series and I can't wait to read the rest of them! I am a huge fan of the lykes in the Immortals After Dark World. They are just so incredibly sexy!

I'm not going to say too much about the storyline, because I think by now there are most likely millions of reviews on this amazing series out already, but we have another hit! I love Lachlain and I love Garreth! I want them both! Why are lykaes so sexy?

Lucia the Huntress was our heroine and I loved her! I loved her personality and her strength for all that she had been through! But, ah! She was just so stubborn when it came to admitting that she wanted Garreth! There were times in the book where Lucia really pissed me off, but she was an endearing heroine. Plus I loved Garreth chasing her as Lucia ran from him! So this was another amazing installment in the Immortals After Dark Series, and I look forward to the next book!

TV Review: Outlander 1X02: Castle Leoch

This has been the longest two weeks of my life, waiting for the second episode of OUTLANDER. And I have to tell you that it was just as good if not more than the first episode.

Back we are to Castle Leouch!

[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="221"] Source: anjelia3[/caption]

Claire and the gang make it to Castle Louche and right away Claire realizes that she must blend in with this time to be able to survive it and make it back home in her time and she is very determined. The Lord of the Castle, Colum lets her know she can leave in 5 days time where she plans to go back to the stones. But Claire makes some mistakes along the way where Dougal and Colum are very suspicious of her and know Claire is hiding something.

Learning how to survive 1743...

[caption id="" align="alignright" width="221"] Source: anjelia3[/caption]

In this episode we really get to see how everything works in this time with the rules, work, and how much work it is for a lady to get dressed. Thank god all I have to worry about is a t-shirt and jeans now. We get to see Claire fix up Jamie a couple of time and develop more of a relationship with him. I have to say I do love how that is slowly developing.

A few emotional moments brought on...

I did have a few tearful moments in this episode. The first was when Jamie asks about Claire's husband and she breaks down and says he is not alive and Jamie holds her. I loved that scene, I started tearing up and I loved how Jamie consoled her. This is my favorite scene in this episode, not just because of Jamie holding Claire but we get to see Jamie shirtless to. Yum!

An ending that left me feel for Claire

At the end of the episode Lord Colum changes his mind and does not let Claire leave and that makes me tear up and feel for her because I cannot even imagine being in a place and time where you are trapped and they won't let you leave. It made me feel incredibly angry and and sad for her. I'm glad when tv shows and actors are able to make me feel a certain emotion. It means they're doing a great job! I'm looking forward to episode 3 next!

TV Review: Outlander 1X01: Sassenach

I have had OUTLANDER on my TBR List for a while and I have heard everything that is awesomeness about the books. Though I had not yet started the book until about a week before OUTLANDER the Tv Series premiered. Once the promos and previews started releasing I knew I had to check it out. And guess what? It's awesomeness!

Frank & Claire = Boredom for now!

[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="221"] Source: cartimanduas[/caption]

The first episode was great. The first half of the episode focuses on Claire and Frank which I assumed that would be the focus. I am glad they gave Frank half the episode because once Claire leaves he gone. I did enjoy the little sex scenes. I felt like this when I read this part during the book, but the first half was boring as was Frank. It was hard for me to pay attention. One thing that I could do without is Claire's narration throughout the episode. I think it is needed because it's her story, but they had too much of it.

Jamie Alexander MacKenzie Fraser...

[caption id="" align="alignright" width="221"] Source: briannaefraser[/caption]

For the second half of the episode things took off splendidly. I was so into the second half of the episode that I hated when it ended. Claire meets Jack Randall. And He.is.an.ASS. And then she runs into Dougall and she finally meets Jamie Fraser. I loved all the Jamie and Claire scenes. They were all perfect. And OMFG! That scottish accent. ♥swoon alert♥ When he jumped off that horse and went to Claire with him and all his hotness. Oh, god! I'm a fan 4LIFE!

An Amazing First Episode!

The episode leaves off at Claire and Jamie and gang arriving at Castle Leoch. As far as first episodes goes this was an excellent one and I really liked it. I really think this is going to become one of those series I obsess about. Everything about it was wonderful. The actors did a phenomenal job thus far. And I am really freaking super excited for the next episode. Next Saturday can't come soon enough!

And alas, My favorite Jamie moments...
