Being a mechanic is hard work. Mercy Thompson, for instance, just spent the last couple of months trying to evade the murderous queen of the local vampire seethe. And now the leader of the werewolf pack, who's maybe-more-than-just-a-friend, has asked for her help.

A book of fae secrets has come to light and they're all about to find out how implacable - and dangerous - the fae can be. OK, so maybe her troubles have nothing to do with the job. But she sure could use a holiday...

“Really what?” I asked.
“Despite the way our bond scares you, despite the way someone in the pack played you, you’d still have me?” He'd been listening to my thoughts. This time it didn't bother me. “Adam,” I told him, “I’d walk barefoot over hot coals for you.”

I was seriously surprised, Bone Crossed was better than the first three books but, SILVER BORNE was AMAZING! I can honestly say is the best book in the series, where's the next one? I need the next one! I loved every thing about this book, there wasn't a single part that boring and I thought there would be because of the fae parts, because I couldn't stand the fae parts in Iron Kissed, but it was so good I was hungry for more!

"I thought you were dead" he said. "Stupid," I said blinking hard. "As if i'd die without taking you with me."

I loved that we got more of Mercy and Adam's relationship. It was so lovely. I liked how he was scared she would leave him, and she assured him and I love Adam like that! He is so sweet and has such a heart. I wish Adam was mine! I didn't really like Samuel that much until Bones Crossed and now this one I just loved him, and the pack business, was just so engaging that I just could not put the book down.

Adam would probably not be watching—unless someone triggered an alarm, mostly the cameras ran all by themselves and simply sent pictures to be recorded. Still . . . as I started for my car, I kissed my hand and blew it to the tiny lens that watched my every move, then mouthed, “See you tonight.”

Adam will forever remain my hunny! My bad ass alpha hunny! I was so mad at Mary Jo, because I thought, seriously who can be that stupid but by the end of the book she redeemed herself for me. I loved Darryl and Auriele. And I'm glad we got some more Ben. I missed Stefan though. Hopefully he'll be in River Marked. All and all, I was absolutely in love with SILVER BORNE! I enjoyed it so very much that I can't wait to dig into River Marked

  1. HAHA! Yes! I loved this one so much too. Course I just finished the most recent one Frost Burned. Which I didn't love as much as all the others. I think alot of the tension is gone once Adam and Mercy's relationship is solid - I miss the tension you know? Can't wait til you read the next one!

  2. I just skimmed over your review because I'm not caught up on this series yet. Shameful I know! As the self-proclaimed werewolf addict. LOL I loved the first two books though and can't wait to continue this series.

  3. Yes! I'm nervous to read Frost Burned. I'm hoping it is better than River Marked.

  4. Say what?! The self-proclaimed werewolf addict hasn't caught up on Mercy Thompson yet? You better get a move on, girl! Lolz! ;)
