Guess what? I'm a feature this week!

I got to be the #FF Feature tonight! So excited! Read below to learn more about me!

When did you start blogging?

So, I started Book Blogging in November of 2010. I had a couple of Goodreads friends that were bloggers and they showed me the ropes and hooked me up with all the information I needed. I had lots of fun right off the bat!

What is your favorite part of book blogging?

I do love getting to read some of my favorite new books early, but then I go nuts waiting for the next one, because I read the previous one so early. What on earth was I thinking? But most of all, I absolutely love meeting new bloggers and readers, so I can gain more bookie friends!

What type of books do you mainly blog about?

When I first started blogging my main focus was on paranormal books. So that includes Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance & Young Adult. But recently some friends got me to get into different genres, so I'm reading and reviewing Erotica, Contemporary, Historical Romance & M/M Romance. But my main genre I rave about on the blog are the paranormal books!

What is your favorite book(s)?

Oh, god. Too long a list. Haha! My all-time favorite series is the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning. I'm a hardcore fan! I need more Fever books ASAP! Second all-time favorite is Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews. I love that series to death too! Those two series are my loves in the world. But I do love me some Colorado Mountain by Kristen Ashley, Chicagoland Vampires by Chloe Neill, & Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost. Just to name a few. Obviously I have many more favorites.

What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?

I would say that going to bookish events. I have had a couple of book signings here and I didn't really ever think of going or got informed of any until I started blogging and I got to go and meet up with other bloggers too and meet some favorite authors! It was awesome! I hope to go to more of that this year.

Q: Who is your blogger BFF? Tell us a little bit about him or her?

My blogger BFF has been absent for a while when it comes to blogging, but she is still my blogger BFF. The lovely Miss Vain from Miss Vain's Paranormal Fantasy. We were/are friends on Goodreads first and we talked constantly on there. And we both ended up blogging with great discussions going back and forth on each other's reviews and fun conversations on Twitter. I love this girlie to death and she will forever be my blogger BFF.

Resolutions: Put together your blogger resolution list for all of us to see!

1. More Activity

I have been a little absent on my blog lately. More like in the last year. I think things have just gotten a little crazy and I have been posting like every couple of weeks or once a month or something. I would like to get back to actively posting. And commenting is another big one! I want to comment more!

2. Networking

I've been slacking off in this too. I hope to visit more blogs, and connect more via Facebook pages and Twitter. And just be like I was before 2013. Actively discussion on twitter with blogger buddies in endless conversations.

3. Design Aspect

Okay. I love my design. I love my purple! I always end up changing my design like 3 or 4 times a year. I'm happy with it this time, right now. I just want a header I can be happy with, so I'm going to be working on that. And also little small things, like creating different buttons and icons and customize my sidebar more. Oh, and fix my comment system!

4. Blog Tours/Interviews

This is a big one for me and a hard one. I hope to maybe include some more fun posts like interviews, different lists, certain recommendations and etc. Some fun stuff on my blog. Hopefully get some more time to plan that sort of thing out. Hopefully I can make that happen this year.

Feature & Follow: Favorite Fictional Mama

Q: Happy Mother’s Day! Who is your favorite mom from fiction?

So fictional mothers do not leave a huge impression on me, because most of the time it is suppose to be all about the heroine and that's all I care about, but I just love it when an author is able to create those side characters that you can love! Even the family members, like the mothers. There's one book I can think off the top of my head where I adored the mother!

Kristen Ashley's The Gamble featuring Nina Sheridan's mother.

I know it sucks. I cannot remember her name! ARRRGHHH! But she's Nina's mother. So there you go. I love her because she is just so crazy and hyper and all about her daughter's love life. It's too funny!

Favorite Nina Sheridan's Mama moment
“When we faced Mom, we saw she was addressing Max. "We get to know each other I'll get to hug you." "Mom!" I snapped and Mom turned to me. "I get to do it when he doesn't have a shirt on too. I'm calling it now," Mom declared.”

Q: Give us a sneak! What are you reading? Tell us about a fun or fail scene in your current read.

I haven't picked my next book to read yet, because that is always the hard part after finishing a book for me. Deciding what to read next because I wanna read like 15 books all at once. LOL

So I will give you a sneak peek from the previous book I read. Rogue Descendant by Jenna Black was my last read and it's an adult urban fantasy series about descendants of gods and goddesses. This scene is so badass and it's about Anderson Kane.

“I’m the son of Death, Nikki. There is one way to kill me, and it was not in Konstantin’s power to do. But there is no power on earth that can contain me.” He walked through the snow toward me—leaving footprints this time—and crouched so he was about at eye level.

Why do I like this scene/moment?
Anderson Kane is my man candy and I can't stop thinking about this scene! Man, I want him and he is so badass!

Q: We are about to see a lot of posts & tweets about reader conventions, RT, BEA, ALA and many more are starting soon. Which one would you love to attend? Where and why?

There are many I would love to attend! But I have my top #2 that I would like to someday attend and that is BEA & RT! BEA because I hear about it so much and reading blogger's recaps on that event just makes me wanna go so bad! And I want to experience the craziness!

Also, RT because I would love to see some of my all time favorite authors in the urban fantasy genre & paranormal romance genre and get them to sign my book! And plus, a lot of my blogger friends tend to go to RT and I would love to meet up with them and maybe get a drink! :)

Feature & Follow: Biggest Emotional Scene

Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee’s View & Alison Can Read.

The goal is to increase blog followers and make friends. Basically how it works is you follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. So looking forward to making new blogging friends & following blogs!

Q: Tell us about the most emotional scene you've ever read in a book - and how did you react?

My I've read quite a few emotional scenes in books before, so I'm debating which emotional scene in which book hit me the hardest. Two books really hit me the hardest. But my winner would be Hard Bitten by Chloe Neill, at the end when *beep*beepethan died*beepbeep*

I was a mess! I had to put the book down like 8 times and when I picked it  back up again, back came the tear works! I feel when you're so connecting to characters in a book, you can't help it! The big no no. I'll never read that book in public again! Really bad idea!

Runner ups for Big Emotional Scene:
Sin Undone by Larissa Ione & Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer!

Q: What is your guilty pleasure as far as reading? Is it a genre, or is it a certain type of book?

My Guilty Pleasure as far as reading goes is a genre and a certain type of book! Urban Fantasy is my go to genre always! I also need certain specifics in my books! I need a strong heroine, & alpha hero (I'm hoping for ultimate alpha), also some good solid dialogue! And I crave for a hot sex scene too! >v<

My Ultimate Guilty Pleasures:
Fever by Karen Marie Moning & Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews!
